Ventilated Cladding Sheets

| Lack of adequate ventilation is a major hazard in
livestock housing. The use of Ventair ventilated side cladding sheets
creates a clean and healthy environment. Humidity within the building,
combined with low outside temperatures, creates condensation. A damp humid
atmosphere is one of the worst environmental conditions of animal housing.
Too high a temperature, on the other hand, results in increased metabolic
rates and poor food conversation. To avoid both these problems, fresh air
must circulate constantly within the building. Moist air must be evacuated
from the building and replaced with clean air. Outlet ventilation of at
least 0.05 sq metres per animal is essential. Ventair is made in 32mm reversed box profile and specifically shaped louvres are cut into the broad ribs. Louvres are cut across the full width of the sheet and to any length required down the sheet. Ventair louvres offer little resistance to airflow and help direct the incoming air upwards, keeping the building free from draughts.
