TRISOMET333 FIXING

NOTE. This page of drawings has been retained from the Corus's former 32/1000 profile and catalogue. Whilst the same lapping and other details apply to the new 333 profile, (we think these drawings explain the basic layout better). For Trisomet333 fixing positions please refer to the drawing at bottom of the Span/loading table page.

The new Trisomet panel is simple to fit to roof and wall applications and no site applied sealant is required.

 

Position panel against rails with overlap edge in underlap recesses as shown

  

Small force is required to engage panel (ie. push with side of foot or hand)

Above and on right. No side lap sealant required.

  Below. End lap sealant stopped short at under/overlap crown to avoid material build up.

 Ridge flashing, butt or lap jointed, sealed with 2 runs of continuous high performance strip sealant Profiled Filler sealed top and bottom Flashing stitched with sealed or self drilling fasteners with sealing washers no greater than 400mm centres
10 x 5mm PE foam tape (3 runs) Do not layer over the top of the end crown (as shown above) 50 x 5mm PE foam tape, continuously laid to ensure air tightness Primary fastener, 5.5mm dia. self drilling austenitic SS. high thread fastener with 19mm sealing washer Injected Foam or possibly Rockwool Insulation quilt. Internal flashing butt or lap jointed sealed with two runs of continuous high performance strip sealant 9 x 3mm 10 x 5mm PE foam tape (3 runs) Do not layer over the top of the end crown (as shown above)
