(STOCK BOARD) Used in Agriculture, Civil Engineering & Fabrication as well as the Equestrian World. Flat polyethylene STOKBORD sheets are ideally suited to livestock housing and the agricultural industry in general. Uses include the lining of stables and livestock pens, pig pens, cow cubicle housing, milking parlours plus poultry & pet housing. Being slip resistant they make good ideal flooring for livestock lorries and farm livestock and horse trailers etc as well as industrial and outdoor applications. Stokbord is manufactured from recycled polyethylene and has a textured surface which does not show scuff marks. It is pressure and steam cleanable, non absorbent and maintenance free as it does not require painting. The embossed surface gives good scratch resistance. The standard and most used colour is black. See below for details of other colours. This easily workable product come in 8 x 4 ft. sheets in 3 thicknesses. 6mm, 9mm, and 12mm. Black Stokbord is available ex stock from SLE Cladding Ltd in 6mm, 9mm & 12mm Boards. For other colours see below.

Other colours are available subject to size of order and availability as per below. Black in 6mm, 9mm & 12mm are standard SLE Cladding Ltd stock items and can be purchased in any quantity. The standard colour range is BLACK, GREEN, GREY, RED, BLUE & WHITE. All colours other than Black are produced to order for which there is a minimum order quantity of 1.5 tonnes for laminated one side sheets and 5 tonnes and for integral colour sheets. Any shade of colour can be produced. For specialist applications, Stokbord is available in two finishes and a range of colours :- a) Colour laminated to one side of the board. b) Colour as an integral part of the board. |
| FITTING TIPS: For best results Stokbord should be fixed where possible at or near their upper service temperature. Where significant temperature changes or applications in direct sunlight are envisaged the fixings should make an allowance for expansion and contraction. |
| Water appears not not to make the surface of Stokbord slippery. Which suggests that it may be an ideal solution to slippery treads on outdoor steps and staircases. |
