OTHER PROFILES. There are many hundred of different profiles some of them obsolete and no longer produced in metal or fibre cement, but they are still available in GRP .and can be ordered from SLE Cladding Ltd.

OBSOLETE & OTHER PROFILES. There is a  problem with the really obsolete profiles and profiles and grades in little demand, in that the manufacturers require orders totalling 50 lin. metres before they will commence a production run. This quantity of orders may take a few days, a few weeks or a few months to assemble. 50 metres is too much to purchase if only say 2 sheets are required.

IDENTIFYING PROFILES. Identifying modern profiles for us is fairly easy but old obsolete profiles can be a problem. We advise taking a sheet of thick paper and holding it against the end of a undamaged profiled sheet and with a fine pen trace the profile accurately over three flutes (bumps). Posting the drawing to us is the best. If it is faxed it needs all the measurements adding as a fax machine can distort the size of the drawing. We cannot guarantee to identify all profiles, our book contains over 600 number and that is not all of them.,

TECHNICAL INFO.  Trilite superlife. is a UV protected GRP sheet with a life expectancy in excess of 30 years and is now standard for all Weather sheets.

It features an enhanced UV protection system on the outer surface, providing protection from harmful effects of the sun and high levels of ultraviolet radiation, protecting both people and materials beneath. It provides superb weather performance and ensures that high quality diffused natural light will flood into the building for the life of the structure.

Correctly specified, installed and maintained material will provide a sheet life expectancy in excess of 30 years. The underside of the sheet features a standard protective system, ensuring that Trilite superlife will not suffer from rapid degradation or delaminating of either top or bottom protective layers.
