IDENTIFYING METAL PROFILES
Page down for profile drawings.
SLE Cladding Ltd holds rooflight manufacturers catalogues that show over 700 different profiles. This is not by any means the sum total of all profiles, current, old and redundant that are in existence.
Fortunately the majority in use are from a much more limited range. This and other pages shows current and old profiles from some of the UK's larger manufacturers. Some of the current profiles are carried in stock or can be obtained produced to required lengths.
Of the redundant profiles, most are available to order in Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP). The only problem with the older profiles is that there is so little demand for many them that the GRP manufacturers may not have them readily available on the shelf and require an order of a minimum of 50 linear metres before they will consider producing them. That is an awful lot of monies worth when possibly only a few metres are required.
To have a profile identified, please take a tracing on stiff paper or cardboard, and post to us. If faxing, please include measurements as fax machines can distort size. Please be as accurate as possible as a millimetre makes a lot of difference.
NOTE. Some metal profiles below are shown only in "Roofing Profile" That is to say with the outer plastic colour coating on the top side of the drawing. Most of these profiles are also available as a "cladding profile" with the coating on what is the underside in the drawings below.
PROFILE DRAWINGS. The quality of some of the profile drawings on the following pages are poor, having been scanned from the manufacturers drawings which unfortunately do not scan too well, for which we apologise.
