SLE Cladding Ltd can supply galvanised box profile, corrugated & flat sheets as well as ridge, barge, and flashings etc that have been powder coated (smooth plastic coating) to a very high standard to the customers particular colour requirements. This can include a different colour to each side of the sheet.

WARNING. Producing a bespoke high quality finish is an extremely costly business. It involves some large and costly equipment and processes, including washing in various solutions to remove even the slightest suggestion of possible contamination, drying by heater and hanging on the coating line were it is automatically sprayed with electrically charged paint particles a number of times prior to drying by heaters.

This high quality finish carries a 10 years manufacturer's warranty and must not be confused with the cheaper method of using hand held sprayers directly on to the unwashed product.

The cost of the process tends to put the process as far as roofing materials are concerned, way beyond that of the cost conscious commercial, business, industrial and private sectors, mainly limiting its use in the construction industry to two main areas as per below.

A) Restoring the UK's Industrial architectural heritage.

The early industrial engineering innovators made good use of the cheap new corrugated black iron and later corrugated galvanised steel when they became available. Regular painting in in their individual corporate colours with the aid of cheap labour was the norm. Today's restorers needing to produce exact matching coloured replica products that have a long maintenance free life have to look to powder coating.

B) Architects & Designers.

Architects & Designers with commissions to produce designs for buildings or structures requiring colours not commercially available.
