FIXING SPECIFICATION The detailed design and fixing instructions are described in the Onduline leaflet. The main difference in the fixing instructions bring the size and type of the fixing required to nail through the tile batten through the top of the low-line sheet corrugation and into the Onduline support batten or decking. Please refer to the main Ondutile leaflet mechanical fixing section (CLICK HERE) and amend as follows :- Mechanical fixing specifications Ondutile low-line base sheets are laid with a double corrugation side lap and 200mm end lap. A sheet under normal conditions will provide 1.7m2 coverage compared to the 1.5m2 of a standard Onduline PPHR sheet. |

| ROOF VENTILATION |
| Ondutile forms a cold roof
section and requires ventilation above and below the Onduline sheet,
if decking is used, slots in the decking can be provided at high and
low levels to form ventilation channels utilising the sheet
corrugations which contribute 10,500mm2 per linear metre ventilation
to the total ventilation requirement This is sufficient low level
ventilation at the eaves Roof pitches of 15%v or more requiring 10,000mm2 per linear metre high level. The ventilation requirement is set out in the Ondutile leaflet |
