LEAD PATINATION OIL

Have you seen the unsightly white staining which can often be seen on the tiles below new leadwork, or perhaps been called back to site only to find that the staining cannot be removed. The stain is caused by a corrosion element released by the lead when it becomes damp, in time the deposit becomes stable forming the pleasing appearance of weathered lead sheet, but unfortunately by this time the damage has been done.

THIS CAN BE PREVENTED BY USING MULTI-PAT, an easily applied surface coating which seals the surface preventing run off but allows the stable patina to develop under the coating, it also greatly improves the appearance of new leadwork

Quick & Easy to Apply.   A single application with a cloth

Economical.   It costs only a few pence per sq/m

Prevents White Staining.

Enhances Appearance.

No Call Backs.

One application of Multi-Pat prevents staining such as above

APPLICATION
1/. Shake the can well before use, thoroughly soak a clean cloth with Multi-Pat and apply it working from the top of the lead panel working downwards. Apply only one coat, do not use a scrubbing or circular motion as this will mar the final appearance.

2/. Apply only one coat of Multi-pat.

3/. Only apply to clean dry surfaces

4/. To ensure total protection apply Multi-Pat to the underside of all lower edges        of leadwork and any lead clips.

5/. Preferably Multi-Pat should be applied no later than the end of the days work      to prevent overnight rain damaging the appearance.
