LOFT & CAVITY INSULATION
A high-quality, thermal and acoustic insulation, GYPGLAS mineral wool is produced from silica sand, the earth's most abundant natural mineral. The basic glass-wool is non-combustible and does not add to the fire load of a building, in fact, the reverse more often occurs with GYPGLAS actually improving the fire resistance of the structure. Available in rolls, GYPGLAS offers a range of densities with a choice of facings to meet specific applications and are suitable for operational temperatures of up to 230°. Although GYPGLAS 1000GP (rolls) and GYPGLAS BCW (Cavity Wall butts) are the most widely used forms, GYPGLAS is also available with Paper Facing - added strength and easier handling : GYPGLAS 1012 Flanged Roll-PF - paper-faced 40mm overlap flanges on both edges and GYPGLAS 1022 Flanged Roll-AF - aluminium faced with overlap flanges on both edges.
