The Farmscape product range uses the Profile 6 profile and is designed to reduce the visual impact of buildings on the landscape by giving them a more natural look from new. This effect is achieved by applying a surface pigmentation to the top face of the sheet. Unlike a dense layer of gloss paint, this pigmentation allows the distinctive texture of the fibre cement substrate to show through, and gives the product a far more natural appearance than the finish traditionally available to planners and designers.

The Farmscape range consists of three carefully chosen matt colours, namely: Anthracite (grey), Serpentine (green) and Bracken (brown). Together with the subtle variations in tone inherent in any natural cementatious product, the appearance of these colours will blend with almost any landscape from the day the building is erected.

The range of products available with the Farmscape finish has been carefully selected to provide the optimum flexibility for both building design and construction. The Farmscape product range comprises three convenient sheet lengths (1525mm, 2440mm and 2900mm) from the highly successful Profile 6 portfolio, both of which are classified as non-fragile.

When Farmscape sheets are correctly installed, together with a selection from the variety of accessories available, the whole roof can be designed and installed as non-fragile.

To meet these requirements Farmscape is only produced in this small standard range of products as listed below. If tempted to sheet a building other than a modern standard farm building using Farmscape, do check that suitably sized Farmscape materials are available to complete the application.

Note also, like all coloured fibre-cement products, Farmscape is only produced to order by the manufacturer. It is not stocked by SLE Cladding Ltd or as far as we know by any other stockist. Production requires that products are taken directly off the production line (and not from outside stock) and held undercover for a period  to cure. Depending on how busy the manufacturers are, the standard delivery period can sometime be extended. We strongly advise ordering in good time if planning to use Farmscape or any other coloured fibre-cement.
