EXPORTS

SLE Cladding Ltd mainly supplies the UK market. It does however provide an export service that includes sourcing, export wrapping / packaging and delivery of the roofing & cladding materials to overseas customer's agent/freight forwarder or SLE Cladding Ltd's own freight forwarder situated in the UK.

In all such cases, all goods have to be paid for in full before despatch to the agent or freight forwarder.

An estimate of export transportation costs can be obtained at the quotation stage from the freight forwarder on the customers behalf. This will only be a rough estimate because at this stage the exact size and weight of goods will not be known until they are made, checked, assembled and packed or crated.

We regret that our staff do not speak any other language than English.

The many overseas visitors to our website are reminded that the UK in the main enjoys a very mild climate with moderate rainfalls and few extremes of temperature or wind. thus the BS standards and our advice on this website is tailored to such conditions.

Before placing an order overseas customers are strongly advised to check that the materials are suitable for their climatic conditions and that the fixings, method of fixing and their quantity are sufficient for that climate. The best check is to look around your locality and note how the various materials have stood the test of time and take local advice.

As an example, in the UK and Northern Europe, Clear Corrugated PVC is widely used for commercial rooflights. For Southern Europe and North Africa, the more expensive Clear Corrugated Polycarbonate is recommended to withstand the heat.
