QUALITY. Eternit profiled Sheeting is manufactured in Great Britain to a quality system, registered under BS EN ISO 9002 Certificate Number. FM26412.

Eternit Profile 3 & Profile 6R sheets are manufactured to BS 494 Class 1X and hold a British Board of Agrement Certificate number 00/3700.

SLE Cladding Ltd as main distributors carry stocks of Profiles 3 & 6 sheets and popular accessories as well as fibre-cement gutters. Large orders are delivered direct from manufacturer's plant to site, by prior arrangement.

Fibre-cement the replacement for asbestos-cement, which is now banned by law, is a much used product in the livestock industry on account of it's ability to retain condensation.

On a frosty nights the warm breath from livestock condenses and freezes on the underside of metal sheets. Come the morning as the day warms up the ice melts and drips sometimes in considerable quantities on to livestock and their bedding.

In the case of fibre-cement the underside of the sheets have the ability to hold on to most of the droplets of water until the day warms up and the air currents dry them away.

This barn, in Shawbury, Shropshire is constructed using a mixture of Profile 3 and Profile 6 Eternit sheets.

PROFILE 3

Profile 3 is easy to handle and is suitable for small structures in the agricultural, industrial and domestic sectors. I.e. Garages, general purpose sheds and smaller buildings.

PROFILE 6R

Profile 6R has a very broad appeal. It is designed for roofs of 5º pitch and over for vertical cladding in both single skin and insulated constructions.

COLOURS As well as the standard natural grey. Eternit's standard range of colours include;- BS-18-29 Blue, BS 12-B-29 Laurel Green, BS 08-B-29 Brown, BS 18-B-25 Gunmetal Grey. Colour prices are approx. 20% above natural grey. Page down for Colour Chart.

EXTENDED COLOUR RANGE. An extended colour range is subjected to a 30% surcharge on natural grey prices and a minimum quantity of 250sq. metres. (Chart not shown, ask SLE Cladding for details)

ROOFLIGHTS. Rooflights in PVC & GRP to match profiles 3 & 6 which meet HSG 33 requirements are available ex stock.

SAFETY . Profile 6R is a high strength fibre-cement sheet with polypropylene reinforcement strips inserted along precisely engineered locations which run the full length of the sheet in each corrugation. This provides maximum reinforcement strength with no loss of durability in service. (The above does not apply to profile 3)

When correctly installed the Profile 6R sheet passes the current standard for fragility (SIR30) with a significant factor of safety, a must when working to roof safety requirements of HSG 33.
