SMALL ORDERS & SUPERIOR SECONDS QUALITY 

COMPOSITE CLADDING.

 Small Orders.

   There can be a problem in placing very small orders. As an example say for enough sheets to cover a private garage roof. The production of composite panels involves some very expensive machinery and setting up to produce a particular type, colour & thickness involves considerable down time, thus manufacturers look for long production runs and are reluctant to accept small orders or they charge a very prohibitive hefty premium for producing them.

There are 2 possible ways of surmounting this problem.

A)   If the order is for TRISOMET for which there is the greatest demand and the small order matches the colour and thickness of a larger order in hand, it may be possible to add it to it.

B)  The other alternative is to consider cut lengths of sheets that are carried in stock by SLE Cladding Ltd. These are sold under the heading of Superior Seconds Quality and are approximately half price. SEE below .

Superior Seconds' Quality
SLE Cladding Ltd stocks Composite Panels in 'Superior Seconds' quality  (test sheets, offcuts, overproduction and slightly marked sheets etc), as and when they become available from various manufacturers. They are delivered in shrink-wrapped packs in various colours, thicknesses and random lengths across a range of approximately 2 metres to 5 metres long.

These sheets particularly appeal to use in smaller building projects and to the DIY enthusiast on both cost and availability. Assembling a quantity of matching length, colour and thickness of the desired product type may not always be possible. The alternative is purchasing small quantities made to specified colour, thickness, profile and length in 'Prime Quality' from  the manufacturers incurring a large surcharge, (If they will accept the order) by reason of the extensive time taken to do production change overs.

Customers sometimes may find it necessary to accept a mixture of colours and then respray or paint the exterior to their desired colour. When insulating an existing building, colour is not a problem as all the underside lining panels are white irrespective of the outer colour.

With quality at low prices (little more than the cost of an outer Plastisol sheet), customers are, were possible, advised to call, inspect and select their individual requirements from our large stock of 'Superior Seconds'. Applications for these materials is limited to one's inventive imagination. See below.
