FELTFIX

DESCRIPTION. A solvent-borne, black bituminous adhesive.

USES. A cold applied adhesive for bonding bituminous roofing felts to asphalt, felt, metal and concrete. It can also be used for bonding mineral chippings to bituminous surfaces. It is not suitable for use over tar based products.

APPLICATION. Ensure the surface is clean, dry and dust free, prime porous or dusty surfaces using Super Penetration Primer. When laying felt on to timber or wood substrates, nail the first layer with galvanised clout nails. Bond subsequent layers with Felt fix, applying with a mop, squeegee or stiff brush. Always tape joints in timbers and concrete before overlapping with felt.

DRYING TIME. 28 - 48 hours depending on application/conditions.

COVERAGE.  1.6 square metres per litre per coat for felt. 1.3 - 1.6 square metres as gritting adhesive.

SIZES. 25 Litre,  5 Litre, 2.5 Litre. 1 Litre Containers.
