STANDARD 3 METRE LENGTH RIDGE & BARGE BOARDS
Standard sizes of 400mm (16") = (200mm (8") wings) are held in stock. 600mm (24") or any other size are purpose made to customer's requirements in matching materials and colours to roofing and cladding sheets supplied. Substrate thickness is 0.7mm or .65mm using Dobel flat sheet.

Welts. Sometime known as "Dutch Welts or Safety Edges" are the small stiffening 10mm fold at the bottom edge of the ridge barge or flashing. With ridge and Barge we fit these are standard. If not required, when ordering you need to request them to be left off. For flashings you need to state if you require any welts and on which edges

All flashings are manufactured on site in 3 metre lengths to customers requirements, normally within 24hrs of ordering, but subject to special material specifications and colour being in stock.

HOW TO ORDER.
Ridge, barge and flashings can be custom made to your own specification, please fax or post a drawing of your requirements as per the illustration shown below. Use an asterisk (*) to denote the coloured side.
Please note that our flashings are produced in 3m lengths only.
Our technical staff are available throughout the day if you wish to discuss your requirements/specifications with them.

SLE NOTE.
Normally (other than for volume production) there is no saving to be had by specifying some shorter lengths in an order, as extra time and work is involved and the surplus material is waste. Just use a bigger overlap or cut surplus off with a pair of tinsnips.

If cutting is necessary to fit ridge, barge or flashings around existing fittings, acquire the use of a quality pair of tinsnips, cutting to size and fitting should then be easy. Too often the cheap ones sold in DIY store prove to be a disappointing failure.
